Lunar Bird describe themselves as dream pop from outer space. Formed in Italy in 2017 by singer-synth player Roberta Musillami and bass player-visual artist Eliseo Di Malto, the art pop collective moved to Cardiff and released the EP 'Daydreamer' in 2018, followed by Lunar Bird's eponymous debut album (2021). Lunar Bird's atmospheric mixture of ethereal Dream Pop and mesmerizing Indie Psychedelia immersed in charming visuals draws attention from the likes of Amazing Radio, Reform Radio and BBC Music Introducing in Wales. In 2023, the band released their new album "The Birthday Party", an anthology of songs about alienation and release.

Why they covered this song
We are huge fans of the Cure, having always listened to them and seeing them live several times. It wasn't easy for us to pick a single song, but felt Fascination Street left us enough room to explore adding our own sounds and ideas, but still maintaining the original qualities of the song.
