Why I covered the song: "When I was little I genuinely believed my eldest cousins were the coolest people in the world. Matt used to wear a suit and aviators and play synthesisers while Helen would dress like Desperately Seeking Susan era Madonna and had a chair shaped like a coke can in her room, so honestly - they probably actually were. I once went round to their house excitedly clutching a bootleg cassette of a DJ Sy & DJ Dynamo live rave gig, hoping it would impress them. "That's rubbish!" they said, "the cool thing is indie now!" and they played me Friday I'm In Love. Somewhere in the back of my mind, those few minutes have always been the model for brilliance. This is for them x"

I got to know TS thanks to them supporting The Cure in 2016. Now, six years later, I was in the same place tearing up to the climax of every song in their set. Such a phenomenal sounding and raw live recording. furtherdowncol
