Bio:
Raised on teenage heartbreaks to the soundtrack of her older brother’s emo/pop-punk collection, Lille Venn is the friendly girl sitting in the corner of the party, wearing her favourite 'The Cure' t-shirt and trying not to freak out. With further musical inspirations like Paramore, Blink-182, and Taylor Swift, her songs are written as a nostalgic diary about life's roller-coaster ride and everything it may entail. Lille Venn has quickly made a name for herself in the industry, with her debut EP 'Whatever, Together' propelling her to radio listings and the title of 'Månedens Urørt' on Norwegian radio station P3 in April. Perhaps it's the delightful indie-pop/rock sound, the well-crafted songs, or her charming, quirky demeanor that makes it impossible not to love Lille Venn. Whatever the reason, Lille Venn is an artist you don't want to miss.

3. A paragraph explaining why you covered this song:

I have memories of walking home to several different The Cure songs on repeat, rotating them with each high school season (not as in spring or summer but whether or not I was in a relationship). In Between Days is the last and maybe most important memory I have of these walks. During a low point around graduation, I realized I didn't need anyone to bring me back - I could listen to a song like In Between Days that put words to my emotions and feel better. In my teenage perspective, In Between Days became less about "you" or "her" and more about "me without you" - and I still need that reminder every once in a while at 27.
