I’ve recorded a version of ‘Push’ from Head on the door. This song has an amazing urgency, but I was never that sure what it was about. In investigating interpretations of the lyrics online, they vary from being the POV of a transgender person, a violent attack, or the confusion of growing up. One thing they all ihave in common is that it’s about defiance, regaining control and moving forward. I’ve added a spoken word piece at the start that was intended as something in the style of Mr Smith’s favoured author Patrick White, but I ended up putting something similarly opaque about shifts I’d been experiencing in the past few months. It starts off with some really cheap keyboards, and when it all kicks off, it becomes something else entirely. Hope you enjoy it!
Absolutely beautiful, so,so excited for what will come in the future, both songs have lifted my heart and brought some magic to the festive season. paulpoop1

I got to know TS thanks to them supporting The Cure in 2016. Now, six years later, I was in the same place tearing up to the climax of every song in their set. Such a phenomenal sounding and raw live recording. furtherdowncol
