3. A paragraph explaining why you covered this song
The Cure has been my favorite band since I "discovered" them when I was 13, and have been a huge influence on me and my music throughout my career. "The Hanging Garden" is a haunting piece that has always been a standout for me from that earlier era of The Cure's discography that already existed when I first got into them. As soon as the idea of actually doing a Cure cover came up, I immediately went to the idea of making a version of "The Hanging Garden" that starts off more ambient, only to build up to more upbeat and exciting while keeping the dark, melancholy vibe.

I got to know TS thanks to them supporting The Cure in 2016. Now, six years later, I was in the same place tearing up to the climax of every song in their set. Such a phenomenal sounding and raw live recording. furtherdowncol
